Replacement Card

A candidate who, for whatever reason, has lost, had stolen or, in some cases, does not receive their General Safety Induction (Work Safely) certificate or BLUECARD should advise MARCSTA immediately.  The certificate is in the form of a pocket size laminated card.

If a replacement card is required a Statutory Declaration will then be forwarded to the candidate, for completion and return to MARCSTA.  Alternatively you can download the Statutory Declaration from this website.

MARCSTA requires a Statutory Declaration in order to protect the integrity of the certification system.

It is imperative that we prevent the misrepresentation by an imposter that he/she holds a General Safety Induction (Work Safely) certificate or BLUECARD by using the name and more frequently the number of the certificate, to convince an employer that he/she is certified.

On receipt of the declaration MARCSTA will issue a replacement card.

A $22 administration fee is applicable for this service.

The fee for replacement meets our administration charges and ensures we do not have continual requests for replacement from persons who do not adequately protect their cards.

The process is not dissimilar to replacement of a drivers licence.
