
Inaugurated in October 1997, this eight hour program is a general underground safety induction covering the elements listed below.
It is a competency based program and incorporates adult learning training concepts and is based on units of competence from the nationally endorsed Metalliferous Training Package MNMC201A Work Safely.
Presented in a classroom situation of no more than 20 persons, the only prerequisite is that the candidate must have a current MARCSTA General Safety Induction certificate.
